Anniversary + Bday Pop up card

One of my friends asked me to create a special greeting card for her boyfriend's birthday and also celebrating their anniversary. So I excitedly had this idea of combining two of them into one pop up card. When I finished it off, I couldn't let it go because it's too cute and precious to give away. =P

Yuka + Nana

Again I illustrated Yuka and her loving daschund dog pet for her birthday card. =) I was inspired by the simple and loose Japanese illustration style as they evoke nostalgia in sweet and special way.

I illustrated a portrait for Yuka and framed it for her birthday gift. I thought her as a sweet and sincere girl and the best friend anybody could have. =D

Motivate yourself!

This illustration is inspired by Lim Heng Swee's works (you can see more at I love doodle). I love his quirky, clever and yet simple thinking on the world and illustration. What I love even more is the way he combined the inspiring words and characters. Now I am so inspired to put a little bit of glee within others through illustrating!! So I thought there is no better way to start off my illustration based on motivation theme. =D I am in good mood today as it's been raining for a week and the sun has finally came out today!

I heart Pug

I fell in love with this too adorable dog species, a black pug long ago since I laid my eyes on it at my bf's former place. My heart just melted like cheese when I saw its permanent saaaad and pitiful face. Since my bf hates the thought of me getting a dog (because he knew I will pay too much attention on the pug and disregard him..haha), so I will just illustrate one to be saved right on my comp. =) It's hard to get mad at the sad face...hee

Summer Kiss

I found this old photo I took of Brighton bathhouse and thought of spicing it up by adding fashion look. Beside I am missing the hot sweaty weather right now at this freezing winter. Just about 4 months to go to the bliss summer! =P
